If you are arrested in Illinois for a DUI, the Court will most likely order a drug and alcohol evaluation. This is to determine the extent of the defendant's use and the consequent risk to the public. This evaluation must be done before any kind of driving permit can be issued. It will also determine what kind of DUI classes and counseling programs will be required.
Ron Partch is a graduate of Northern Illinois University holding multiple degrees. With over 25 years of addiction treatment and counseling experience, Ron is licensed by the state of Illinois as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Our mental health facilities provide group meetings conveniently scheduled both during the day and evening hours in addition to Saturday sessions, we can get you the drug and alcohol counseling you need and help you get your driver's license reinstated.
When your driver's license is revoked by the state of Illinois, you must appeal to the Secretary of State to get your driving privileges reinstated. The Secretary of State's Department of Administrative Hearings frequently changes the requirements for documentation, making the process confusing and frustrating. We stay abreast of these requirements and know how to assemble the correct paperwork.
What to bring for your evaluation:
1. Notice of Summary Suspension from the officer
2. Driving record from DMV
3. Anything you think might be relevant
